BRANCH ACTIVITIES
Immigrants Integration and “Euromedcity” Network
On the 26th May 2006 a new seat of Fondazione Mediterraneo was
opened in Murcia, thanks to the Memorandum of Understanding signed
with the Municipality of Murcia. During the five-year period in
which Murcia will lead the Euromedcity network, the
goal will be to increase membership in the network among other
cities with not more than 1 million residents and which are located
in the Euro-Mediterranean area. It will do so organizing yearly an
International Meeting called “Cities for tolerance” as
well as activities concerning the integration of migratory flows.
