MED:DA DOMANI VERTICI FONDAZIONE ANNA LINDH RIUNITI A NAPOLI (ANSAmed) - NAPOLI, 24 SET - Dopo la riunione dei presidenti delle Regioni che si affacciano sul Mediterraneo, Napoli rafforza sempre più la sua centralità nel bacino. Da domani fino al 28 settembre si riunisce, nella sede della Fondazione Mediterraneo, il Consiglio consultivo della Fondazione euromediterranea Anna Lindh per il dialogo tra le culture, l´organismo costituito dall´Unione europea per promuovere la pace e lo sviluppo condiviso attraverso il dialogo ed il mutuo rispetto. Il Consiglio consultivo, presieduto da André Azoulay, politologo e consigliere del re del Marocco Maometto VI è composto da 18 personalità di chiara fama (9 della sponda Nord e 9 della sponda Sud) e si riunisce per la prima volta a Napoli dopo la nomina da parte degli alti funzionari euro-mediterranei alcuni mesi fa. Membro italiano è Lucio Guerrato, già direttore della Fondazione Anna Lindh e Ambasciatore della Commissione europea in Marocco e Algeria. Saranno presenti a Napoli, oltre ai membri del Consiglio ed al presidente Azolulay, anche il nuovo direttore esecutivo Andreu Claret. I lavori di venerdì 26 settembre, saranno aperti alle 9,30 dal sottosegretario agli Esteri Stefania Craxi, dall´assessore alla cultura al Comune di Napoli Nicola Oddati e da Michele Capasso, presidente della Fondazione Mediterraneo e capofila della rete italiana della Fondazione Anna Lindh. Alle ore 18, nella sede di Via Depretis della Maison de la Mediterranee, si inaugura la mostra fotografica "Murmures" dell´artista libanese Rima Maroun, alla quale i presidenti Azoulay e Capasso attribuiranno - nel corso di una cerimonia durante la quale si esibirà Eugenio Bennato con alcuni artisti della riva Sud - il Premio euromediterraneo per il dialogo tra le culture 2008, la cui giuria è composta dai 1800 membri delle reti nazionali della stessa Fondazione Anna Lindh, alla quale hanno aderito 43 Paesi euromediterranei. The Advisory Council of the Anna Lindh Euro Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue Between Cultures, the entity set up by the European Union to promote shared peace and development through dialogue and mutual respect, gathers from today until September 28 at the seat of the Mediterranean Foundation. The Advisory Council, chaired by André Azoulay, political analyst and adviser to Moroccòs King Mohammed VI, consists of 18 renowned people (9 from the northern coast and 9 from the southern coast) and gathers for the first time in Naples after the appointment by the high Euro-Mediterranean officials several months ago. (ANSAmed). 2008-09-25 09:33 MED: STEFANIA CRAXI, NAPOLI SEDE CONSIGLIO FONDAZIONE LINDH (ANSAmed) - NAPOLI, 26 SET - Napoli potrebbe diventare la sede permanente del Consiglio consultivo della "Fondazione euromediterranea Anna Lindh per il dialogo tra le culture". La proposta è stata presentata oggi nel capoluogo campano, nella sede della Fondazione Mediterraneo, dal sottosegretario agli Esteri, Stefania Craxi, in occasione dell´apertura dei lavori del Consiglio stesso. Insieme con il sottosegretario, il presidente della Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, e l´assessore comunale alla Cultura, Nicola Oddati, hanno presentato la città di Napoli come candidata ideale per ospitare il Consiglio dell´istituzione nata nel 2005 in applicazione dei principi posti dal Partenariato Euro-Mediterraneo del 1995. "Il nostro obiettivo - ha detto Stefania Craxi - è fare della Fondazione Lindh il centro del dialogo nel Mediterraneo, e dell´Unione per il Mediterraneo il quadro politico-istituzionale attraverso il quale rimediare le storture e gli insuccessi del Processo di Barcellona". Il sottosegretario agli Esteri ha quindi offerto ai membri del Consiglio consultivo la Fondazione Mediterraneo come sede permanente delle loro riunioni. "La Fondazione - ha detto - è disposta a ospitare in modo permanente il Consiglio e il governo italiano è disposto a sostenere questo impegno". Dal canto suo, il presidente della Fondazione Anna Lindh, André Azoulay, ha assicurato davanti all´assemblea che è sua ferma intenzione stabilire a Napoli la sede del Consiglio Consultivo della Fondazione. "Vogliamo basare la nostra iniziativa - ha detto - in un luogo ricco di storia come Napoli, la prima città che ci offre proposte e strumenti concreti". Fare di Napoli la città simbolo dell´accoglienza e dell´incontro tra diverse culture appare una priorità anche per l´assessore comunale alla Cultura Oddati: "L´obiettivo di fondo della nostra amministrazione è far crescere la consapevolezza della convivenza e dell´accoglienza tra le nuove generazioni. In questa direzione - ha aggiunto - un altro appuntamento importante sarà il Forum universale delle Culture del 2013, per il quale stiamo lavorando già da adesso". E´ stato infine il presidente della Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, a illustrare ai membri del Consiglio consultivo della Fondazione Lindh la quindicennale attività dell´organismo da lui presieduto, e a issare sul tetto della sede di via Depretis la bandiera dell´Unione per il Mediterraneo, dono - ha detto Capasso - del presidente francese Nicolas Sarkozy. Along with the undersecretary, the president of Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, and the culture councillor of Naples, Nicola Oddati, presented the city of Naples as the perfect candidate to host the council of the institution, created in 2005 in accordance with the principles of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership set up in 1995. Turning Naples into a city symbol of reception and meeting of different cultures appears to be a priority also for culture councillor Oddati: "The objective of our administration is to increase the awareness of cohabitation and reception among the new generations. Another important initiative in this respect will be the Universal Forum of Cultures in 2013, on which we are already working," he said. The president of Fondazione Mediterraneo, Michele Capasso, explained to the members of the consultative council of the Lindh Foundation the fifteen-year-long activity of the organisation he leads, and raised on top of the building the flag of the Union for the Mediterranean, a gift from French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
